In the Eyes of Shadow

Shadow is a cat adopted by my friend Tianqi from an animal refuge center. When she first arrived at her new home, she was uncomfortable and scared, spending most of her time hiding under the bed. My friend worked hard to gain her trust, caring for her patiently until they finally became friends. As an observer, this story deeply moved me.

In this audio piece, I aim to depict their journey of overcoming the gap between them, the growth of their friendship in the small room they share, and Shadow’s eventual embrace of her new beginning. Using spatial audio equipment will enhance the experience and bring their story to life.
